Answer: 33 pages

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x represent the total number of pages typed by Sharita.

The cost of the first 3 pages = $ 16

Each additional page cost $3

Total amount paid = $106

since the first 3 pages cost $16 , and x represent the total pages , then the remaining pages will be x - 3

Also , since each additional page cost $3 , the cost of the remaining pages will be 3 ( x - 3)

Combining this , we have

16 + 3 ( x -3 ) = 106

16 + 3x - 9 = 106

7 + 3x      = 106

      3x = 106 - 7

       3x = 99

        x = 33

therefore ,Sonia's paper was 33 pages long

Given: sin = 4/5 and cos x = -5/13 ; evaluate the following expression. Cos 2x
Nitella [24]

For every possible angle x, the fundamental law of trigonometric states that

\sin^2(x)+\cos^2(x) = 1

In your case, the inputs you provided would lead to

\dfrac{16}{25}+\dfrac{25}{169} = \dfrac{3329}{4225} \approx 0.8 \neq 1

So, it is not possible that, for a certain angle x, we have

\sin(x) = \dfrac{4}{5},\quad \cos(x) = -\dfrac{5}{13}

Please help!! rlly need help
Liono4ka [1.6K]

Answer:

Yes by SAS

Step-by-step explanation:

if you do 42 / 18 you see that the relationship between the sides is 2.3333... so that is one proportional side

Then, you see that there is one angle in both triangles that is 76 degrees, so that is one equal angle

then, you can do 21 / 9 = 2.33333... which is the same as the first proportion which means that is another proportional side.

then you have a side, angle, and a side, so it's SAS
