The correct answers are the following:

the article tries to win over public opinion by using SCIENTIFIC DATA, since these is the technique that relies on proof, graphs, and charts.

The other technique which involves the endorsement of an idea or opinion by a renowned professional in a particular field is EXPERT OPINION.

The NOAA video uses visuals of animals to appeal to the viewer's EMOTIONS. While the article uses scientific data that impli objectivity, logic or reason, the use of animals is meant as an emotional technique, appealing to the viewer's feelings. By doing this, the video is making PASSIONATE claims about the worsening Arctic conditions. Instead of appealing to scientific data and facts, it appeals to the emotions of the viewers.

The correct answer from each drop-down menu are the following ones:

The article "The Melting Arctic" attempst to win over public opinion by making use of persuasive techniques. One such technique is the use of scientific data , which relies on proofs, graphs, and charts. The article also relies on expert opinion, which involves the endorsement of an idea or opinion by a renowned professional in that particular field.

In contrast, the NOAA video uses visuals of animals to appeal to the viewer's emotions. It makes passionate claims about the worsening Arctic conditions and the adverse effects they have on animal life.

The linking word "in contrast" indicates that what is about to be introduced should be the opposite to whas has been said. Consequently, as the first paragraph talks about scientific data, the second one should appeal to the opposite of that, that is, emotions and beliefs. "Passionate" is the only adjective in the examples that has a positive connotation that can be put together with the first option ("emotions").

"What" and "who" are examples of blank pronouns
USPshnik [31]
A pronoun is a word, which we use instead of a noun, usually to avoid boring repetitions. For example, in the following sentence, I am going to swap the word "pronouns" for the word "them", simply because you will get bored if I fill each sentence with the word "pronoun". There are various forms of them.

Subject pronouns: I, You, He, She, It, We, You, They

Object pronouns: Me, You, Him, Her, It, Us, You, Them

Possessive pronouns: Mine, Yours, His, Hers, Its, Ours, Yours, Theirs

Relative pronouns: Which, whose, that, where, when....etc...

I could go on, but I reckon you get the idea now. Ironically, the word "pronoun" is actually a noun.

So the answer yes

7nadin3 [17]

Answer:

Name the school- Describe your school- Share your view- What you like the most- Ask him/her about studies

19 World View,

Maharashtra 280091,

April 13, 2021.

Dear Saptak,

How are you? I am doing well. You will be glad to know I have taken admission to Central School. The school building stands tall in the middle of a large ground.

I was apprehensive of starting overall again in a new environment. To my surprise, the school has welcomed me with an open heart. Our teachers treat us like their own children. They teach with great interest. I have made new friends also. They are very co-operative and we help each other in our studies.

The playground is the man attraction of the school. We have plenty of co-curricular activities which I love the most. I am elated to be able to continue with my football practice. I am fortunate enough to become the captain of our junior school team I am coping up in the new school, I often miss my old friends.

How are you doing with your studies? You must be working hard. Take care of yourself. Please convey my regards to your parents.

Yours Sincerely,

Anuj
