Easy, To make a triangle, you have to have the two SMALLEST sides, when added up be BIGGER than the longest side. This makes a triangle. So, 6+8=14 The other side has to be BIGGER than 14, so it could be 15,16,17 etc

2x - 3y = -14<br> 5x + 9y = -2
Firlakuza [10]

Step-by-step explanation:

2x-3y= -14

5x+9y= -2

multiply the first one by 5 and the second one by -2 to get equal and opposite value of x.

➡️when you multiply,it will be

10x-15y= -70

-10x-18y= 4

cancel out each x value,then you get

-15y-18y= -70+4

-33y= -66, divide each side by -33 to get the value of y

⚪️y= 2

➡️substitute the value of y in the equation of (2x-3y= -14) to find the value of x

2x-3(2)= -14

2x-6= -14

2x= -14+6

2x= -8 divide both side by 2

⚪️x= -4

so the answer is (-4,2)
