Your answer is correct, don't worry! To check your answer, just plug in the answer you got with the variable you are supposed to find. Multiplying by a half is like dividing by two. So, 16 divided by 2 is 8. 8 multiplied by 8.25 is 66. I'm jealous of your handwriting.. XD

You got the right answer!

My math seems a little different though

I would set up the equation to be 66= (base*8.25)/2

multiply 66 by 2 = 132

132= base*8.25

divide both sides by 8.25, which equals

base= 16

* this symbol means multiply!

Hope this helps!

You can do Guess and Check(but the smart way). You first get 102 and 12. Then, you can minus 3 from each one of them, getting 99 and 9, also being 11 times the other, so then the answer would be 180 - 99 or 90 - 9, equaling 81
