Answer:

The coordinates of the lines when both lines meets at point is ( 0, 0 )

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as :

The two lines are

\frac{2}{3}x + \frac{1}{6}y = \frac{2}{3}

And 4 x + y = 4

The coordinate of the lines are obtained when the two lines intersect

Let the coordinate of intersection points are ( x , y )

Now , The first lines as

\frac{2}{3}x + \frac{1}{6}y = \frac{2}{3}

Or, Taking LCM we get ,

\frac{4x + y}{6} = \frac{2}{3}

Cross multiplication both sides

Or, 3 × ( 4 x + y ) = 2 × 6

Or,  3 × 4 x +  3 × y = 12

Or, 12 x + 3 y = 12          ...........A

Other line is 4 x + y = 4

i.e 3 × ( 4 x + y ) = 3 × 4

or, 12 x + 3 y = 12          .........B

Solving both the line equations

(12 x + 3 y ) - ( 12 x + 3 y ) = 12 - 12

I.e x = 0  and  y = 0

So coordinates are ( x , y )  =  ( 0 , 0 )

Hence The coordinates of the lines when both lines meets at point is ( 0, 0 ) Answer

The angle a is acute and sec a
Anna007 [38]

Fundamentally you can get there using the identity

... sin(a)² + cos(a)² = 1

... 1/cosec(a)² + 1/k² = 1 . . . . . substituting for sec(a) and sin(a)

... 1/cosec(a)² = 1 - 1/k² = (k² -1)/k² . . . . subtract 1/k²

... cosec(a)² = k²/(k² -1) . . . . . Multiply by cosec(a)²k²/(k²-1)

... cosec(a) = k/√(k²-1) . . . . . .take the square root

_____

You can get there slightly faster using the identities tan²=sec²-1; csc=sec/tan.

What is 1 5/8 ÷ (−1 3/5)
Triss [41]

Answer:

-1 1/64

Step-by-step explanation:

First, turn these mixed fractions into normal fractions:

1 5/8

5/8 + 8/8 = 13/8

-1 3/5

-3/5 + -5/5 = -8/5

13/8 / -8/5

Then you can use the KCF (keep, change, flip) method to solve:

13/8 / -8/5

13/8 x -5/8 = -65/64

-1 1/64

-1 1/64 is your answer

Hope this helps!

Help fast please in a test and don’t know the answer I have tried Googling and everything please help
densk [106]

Answer:

Surface Area = 3,543.7 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

Surface area of the cylinder = 2πr(h + r)

Where,

radius (r) = 12 cm

height (h) = 35 cm

Plug in the values into the surface area formula

S.A = 2*π*12(35 + 12)

S.A = 24π(47)

S.A = 3,543.71651 cm²

≈ 3,543.7 cm² (approximated to the nearest tenth)
