Rosa has 3 3/4 pounds of dough. She uses 1/8 of a pound for one roll. How many folks could be made from rosa's dough
Misha Larkins [42]
(3 3/4)/(1/8)  rule:  a b/c=(ac+b)/c

(15/4)/(1/8)  rule  (a/b)/(c/d)=(a/b)*(d/c)

(15/4)(8/1)

120/4  simplify by dividing numerator and denominator by 4

30

So with 3 3/4 pounds of dough, she can make 30 rolls.

Consider the relationship chart for the a fast-food restaurant,
boyakko [2]

The layout of the fast-food restaurant of dimensions 6 by 8 5 feet squares is presented in the attached table created with Sheets.

<h3>How can the required layout be found?</h3>

The dimensions of the facility are;

Horizontal = 6 squares

Vertical = 8 squares

The side length of each square = 5 feet

Therefore;

Area of each square = 5² ft.² = 25 ft.²

Number of squares, <em>n</em>, required by each dependent are therefore;

CB department, <em>n </em>= 300 ÷ 25 = 12 squares

CF department, <em>n</em> = 200 ÷ 25 = 8 squares

PS department, <em>n </em>= 8 squares

DD department, <em>n</em> = 8 squares

CS department, <em>n</em> = 12 squares

A layout for the fast-food restaurant is therefore;

  • The first three vertical columns of 8 squares each are occupied by the CF, PS, and DD departments. The remaining 3 by 8 squares are occupied by the CB department, (3 by 4 squares), and the CS department, (3 by 4 squares)

Please see the attached table layout created using Sheets.

What is the inverse funtion f(x)=4x+8?
Furkat [3]
An inverse function simply produces points (y,x) for each point (x,y) of the parent function.  So to find an inverse function you must solve for the independent variable and then simply sway the variable labels...

y=4x+8  so we want to solve for x, subtract 8 from both sides

y-8=4x, divide both sides by 4

(y-8)/4=x, now simply swap variable labels...

y=(x-8)/4

f^-1(x)=(x-8)/4

went to dinnerand the bii was 120. left a tip for 21.60 what percent of the total bill did they leave
Irina18 [472]
It is not a tough but a little tricky question. here all the in formations are provided for finding the required answer.The person in the question went to have dinner and his bill was 120. He additionally paid a tips of 21.60. Now the thing that needs to be found is the percentage of tips the person leaves behind.
Let us assume that the percentage of tips left behind = x%
Then we can write the equation as:
120 * (x/100) = 21.60
120x/100 = 21.60
12x/10 = 21.60
12x = 21.60 * 10
12x = 216
x = 216/12
  = 18
So the person left 18% tips.

Ghella [55]

Answer:

x = 8, so 6x = 48 and 4x + 10 = 42

Step-by-step explanation:

This is a right angle, so we can say that 6x + 4x + 10 = 90 = 10x + 10 = 90 = 10x = 80 = x = 8.
