The global population is growing, but in the coming decades the population will start to stabilize.

Explanation:

From the presented graph, we can see that the world population is expected to continue to grow in the coming decades. That is not to say that it will never stop, as the prediction are that around 2050 the population should start to stabilize. Also, it can be seen that the growth is expected to gradually slow down on global level. The main reason behind the expectations of growth that will slow down and stabilize is that the development, and the more developed a country gets, the lower the birth rates tend to be.

  • Europe is the only continent that is expected to actually experience decline in its population.
  • Africa is the only continent with significant growth of its population.
  • The rest of the world is either entered or is expected to enter a stabilization phase and have pretty much no growth.

horrorfan [7]

Answer:

The speed of the current climate change is faster than most of the past events, making it more difficult for human societies and the natural world to adapt. Now, day by day new technologies are invented, causing more pollution than in the past. It is important now because we are developing in very fast steps and something should be done.
