The correct way to solve the error in parallel structure is the following:

<em> Kyle thought that he would go to the job interview, that he would talk about his previous experience, and that </em><em>he would answer the manager's questions.</em>

A parallel structure consists of elements that are in the same grammatical form. In this way, the ideas are given the same level of importance. In this paragraph, the structure of the ideas is <em>"that he would..."</em>. Thus, the last clause <em>"that the manager's questions would be answered by him"</em> needed to be changed in order to get a parallel structure.

Communicate the Ideas
grigory [225]

Answer:

-4

Explanation:

1. a) Lance did not stipulate which mathematical laws that will be used for the expression. It could follow computer logical solving from left to right, it could use PEDMAS or BODMAS. Hence solving it in different ways will generate different answers. Likewise, not adding a bracket within the equation varies the results from the multiplication; it could be -2 x (4+1+3) or (-2 x4)+1+3.

b) Using BODMAS which is more commonly used for these kind of expressions, we can have:

(- 2 x 4) +( 1 + 3)

= -8 + 4

= -4
