Identify the compound sentence.

English
1 answer:
Bumek [7]3 years ago
4 0
The compound sentence is letter A: The rain began to fall, but we did not want to leave.

A sentence basically has a subject, the object of the sentence or doer of the action and predicate, the verb, the adjective, etc. Sentence structures could be simple (one independent clause), compound (two independent clause with coordinating conjunction), complex (a subordinate & independent clause) and compound-complex sentences (subordinate & two independent clause). These include clauses, conjunctions, coherence and balance and even to the number of words you use in your subject and predicate. The benefit of complex or compound sentences is that it could give you more explanation on the subject or topic of the sentence. This gives you a much more understanding on what the sentence is trying to portray or to message to give.   <span> </span>

Which phrase describes facts and details that an author states directly in a text? (1 point)
m_a_m_a [10]

The phrase that describes facts and details that an author states directly in a text is;

  • Explicit information

The facts and details that an author directly states in a text are explicit information. Explicit information is plainly described to the audience leaving no room for guessing or deductions.

Implicit pieces of information are those that require the audience to make guesses or interpretations based on the few pieces of information provided.

If, for example, the author states; <em>"That leader was a dictator who had no love for the people", </em>he has provided explicit information. We do not have to interpret the character of the leader.

It is revealed plainly in this piece of information.

Aneli [31]

Answer:

The theme is not what Tony says. The theme of a story is the message or moral. It shouldn't be specific to a story. the main character says "I need to stop daydreaming and pay attention to the road!" this shows that the reason he got stuck in the first place is because he wasnt paying attention. he also says he needs to pay more attention in the future. that is why I believe the correct answer is to pay attention to whatever it is that you are doing.

Easy Question.<br><br> Can evidence be an opinion?
leonid [27]

Not... Exactly. However, evidence can be used to support an opinion.

Evidence is basically add-ons to your own thoughts. Opinions are statements that change base on the person... Evidence is always there, and if its scientifically proven to be true, that fact will be there, no matter who it is.

Hope this helps!! ~Chaos
