Fighting in the Pacific was mainly fought by United States and Japan.

There were two theaters of World War II. One theater of World War II was in Europe, the other was in the Pacific. The Pacific theater of war involved Japan, China, Korea, the Philippines, and many more islands and countries in Southeast Asia.

Following the Battle of Midway the United States began to fight back against the Japanese. They fought to take control of strategic islands in the Pacific. One of the first major battles occurred over the island of Guadalcanal.

Actions by which body resulted in the fall of the Roman Republic and the rise of the Roman Empire?
avanturin [10]

Actions by Senate resulted in the fall of the Roman Republic and the rise of the Roman Empire.

Answer: Option C

Explanation:

The Senate had the powerful authority over matters like military and financial matters of the state. Members of the senate used their powers to get rid of their enemies, eventually leading to a lot of civil wars.

It started when tensions between Pompeii and Julius Caesar turned into a civil war, in which Caesar emerged as the winner but was later murdered. Later Octavian- Caesar’s heir assumed the identity Augustus and became the Roman emperor, which lead to the starting point in the Roman Empire.
