An improved ecosystem cannot be a possible consequence of surface mining.

Further Explanation:

Surface mining is a process of extraction of mineral beneath the surface of earth or from the earth's surface. This process is used to recover the gravel, coal, metal, iron, sand, and stones. There five different kinds of surface mining with a particular change depend upon the mineral that is being extracted from the earth’s surface. The air gets contaminated with carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, sulfur oxide, nitrogen oxide, and ground-level ozone during the process of surface mining.

The mining process loses the soil particle, which is responsible for large scale erosion. These eroded particles, when scatters in the ecosystem, cause destruction of fauna and flora. Though the mining process releases harmful particles in the environment and has many negative consequences, thus, it cannot be taken as a factor that improves the ecosystem.

Answer;

B. improved ecosystem health

Explanation;

-Surface mining is a method of extracting minerals near the surface of the Earth. The three most common types of surface mining are open-pit mining, strip mining, and quarrying.

-The environmental impact of mining includes erosion, formation of sinkholes, loss of biodiversity, and contamination of soil, groundwater, and surface water by chemicals from mining processes.The environmental effects of surface mining include;

 • Habitat destruction
 • Soil erosion
 • Air pollution from dust particulates
 • Pollution (especially from sediments)
 • All surface mining techniques negatively affect the environment, though some methods are more damaging than others.

Dahasolnce [82]

A segmented viral genome can facilitate rapid evolution of new viral strains.

Explanation:

Viruses are non-cellular entities which contain one or molecules of DNA or RNA as their genetic material enclosed inside a protein capsule.

Viruses are obligate intracellular parasites and cannot replicate outside a living cell.

The virus integrates its genome into the host genome and uses its mechanism to replicate its genome.

In other words we can say that viruses actually hijack hosts replication machinery.

The fragment of viral genome which disintegrates itself from the host genome after successful replication might carry fragments of host genome. Thus the viral genome gets modified and may evolve.

The nurse should first assess the patient for any injuries to themselves. Once it has been established that the patient is unharmed, therapeutic communication needs to be initiated. It is important to actively listen and empathize with what the patient is trying to say. Engage the patient in positive communication and discuss treatment options. The nurse will need to evaluate the situation as a whole and if it gets out of control and the patient poses a threat to themselves, the nurse can contact their charge nurse to see what other options can be done. Perhaps he/she may also consider contacting the doctor for pharmacological interventions if the patient is unable to calm themselves down?

Name 4 nitrogen containing substances
Lostsunrise [7]

Answer:Nitrogen occurs in all organisms, primarily in amino acids

Explanation:

Nitrogen occurs in all organisms, primarily in amino acids (and thus proteins), in the nucleic acids (DNA and RNA) and in the energy transfer molecule adenosine triphosphate. The human body contains about 3% nitrogen by mass, the fourth most abundant element in the body after oxygen, carbon, and hydrogen.-wikipedia
