number 1...so samurai in Japan were also important because since they were the main military unit, war was important so this made samurai even more useful. When samurai fought, they were in return given land by there daimyo. When given land, samurai were to protect there daimyo and fight in wars for him.

number 3...so the nobles in Japan form their samurai armies to defend themselves from their enemies. Japan in the feudal society ruled by the Daimyos. They were powerful lords who controlled the lands, formed armies to protect themselves and their property. In return for there services, samurais were granted land.

number 4...the women where called the Onna-musha. it is a term referring to female warriors in pre-modern Japan. These women engaged in battle alongside samurai men mainly in times of need. They were members of the bushi (samurai) class in feudal Japan and were trained in the use of weapons to protect their household, family, and honour in times of war.
