Why was the council of 500 democratic institution
GrogVix [38]

Answer:

It supervised the state's finances, navy, cavalry, sacred matters, building and shipping matters and care for invalids and orphans. Its own members staffed many boards that oversaw the finer points of these many administrative duties. Cleisthenes.  took power in 508 BCE.  destroyed the remaining power of the aristocratic families by replacing the old noble tribes with 10 new ones and making sure that each new tribe was made up of a mix of classes.  also gave the Assembly the right to make and enforce laws. There could be no appeal from its decisions.  created the Council of 500. Those in the Council were selected by lottery from the ten tribes. They advised the assembly and supervised the actions of the archons.  set the minimum age to be an archon at 30.  created the Board of 10 Generals. The people elected generals-one from each tribe. I believe that citizens have a responsibility to vote on all matters. Votes were held on average every ten days. However, ten percent of the citizens had to show up in order for a vote to take place. That meant that 5,000 people had to show up.

Serga [27]

Answer:

Explanation:

1368: The Ming Dynasty began with a rebellion, which defeated the Mongol-led Yuan Dynasty (1271–1368).

1402–1424: Emperor Yongle ushered in a period of prosperity, including trade with Europeans. This continued until the late 1500s, when it was forbidden due to armed smugglers and Japanese pirates.

1420: The Ming capital was moved to Beijing after the Forbidden City was completed. Before that, the capital was Nanjing.

Traditional culture flourished during the Ming Dynasty. Three of the Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese Literature were written.

The Great Wall was more crucial than ever in protecting China from northern invasion during the Ming era.

1644: The dynasty ended when peasant rebellion from the south led to the Great Wall gates being opened to the Manchurians, who initiated the Qing Dynasty (1644–1912).

How did the southern gentry usually educate their children?
d1i1m1o1n [39]
The southern gentry usually educated their children by "hiring private tutors", mostly due to the fact that the population density in this region was low, and sending children to single schools was impractical.
