Then obviously half the holdings (or half the number of shares) of Live Fund will be $\frac{T}{2}$ .

Thus, if each share is valued at $5000, then the total value of the number of shares sold (which is $\frac{T}{2}$ will be:

$5000\times \frac{T}{2} =2500T$ dollars or $ $2500T$ .

Thus, Live Fund will receive $ $2500T$ if they sold half their holding in Marks Brothers.
