The Salt March was a protest which wasn't peaceful, the protesters disobeyed the law on purpose in order to get their voice heard. The reason behind that is that they resented British rule in India, they were maltreated and their rights were violated. The leader, which was Mohandas Gandhi got arrested and faced serious trouble.

This battle took place between September 19 and October 17 of the year 1777 in Saratoga, a region located between Boston and the Great Lakes.
