To solve this question, we have to find the acceleration of the car first. Acceleration refers to the rate of change  of velocity of an object with respect to time.
Acceleration [A] = [V0 - V1] / T
Where VO = Initial velocity and V1 = Final velocity T represent time.
V0 = O
V1 = 18
T = 8
A = [ 0 - 18] / 8 = - 2.25
 A = - 2.25 M/S^2.
To find force, we are going to use the formula: F = MA
 F = ?
M = 1550
A = - 2.25
F = 1550 * - 2.25 = 3487.5
Therefore, F = -3487.5 N

Ended up with 7 7 quarters. Which expression equals the number of dollars Monique spent on the book?
shtirl [24]

Answer:

6.25-1.75

Step-by-step explanation:

Step-by-step explanation:

Monique had 6 dollars. She found 25 cents and then bought a book

25 cents = 0.25 dollars

Total dollar she had= 6 + 0.25= 6.25 dollars

Let x be the cost of a book

She ended up with 7 quarters. Convert quarter into dollars

1 quarter = 0.25 dollars

7 quarters = 7 times 0.25=1.75 dollars

So she ended up with 1.75 dollars

Amount she had at the beginning - the cost of book = amount ended up

Number of dollars spent on the book = Amount she had - amount ended

Number of dollars spent on the book=

6.25-1.75

X^2 + y^2 = 13,
Marysya12 [62]

Answer:

A, B, C and D. are solutions.

Step-by-step explanation:

x^2 + y^2 = 13

x^2 - y^2 = 5

Check which roots fit the original equations:

If x = 3, A gives

9 + y^2 = 13 giving y = +/- √4 = 2 or -2.

Now  plug in x = 3 and y = 2 in the second equation:

9 - (2)^2 = 5

Therefore (3,2) is a solution of the 2 equations.

Following the same procedure  for B, C and D:

B. Substituting x = 3 and x = -2 fits both equations so (3, -2) is a solution.

The same is true for C and D.
