Answer:

As of right now I am only able to answer question 5. Which should be 100. Triangles always equal to 180 degrees, and you already know two of the sides of a triangle, which was 50 and 30. 50 and 30 when added together make 80, so now subtract 180 from 80 and that's your answer. Now, I know this wasn't done on the same triangle, but it didn't have to be. Why you ask? This is because you already know they are both congruent to each other, and their angles correspond.

Also, what is question 6 asking?

The 1,840 rock concert tickets sold were twice the amount of jazz concert tickets sold
Yuki888 [10]
So there where two times the amount of rock tickets sold than the jazz concert. If that is it then you divide the 1840 by 2 getting 920, dividing 1÷2 you get zero remainder 1, 18÷2= 9, 4÷2= 2, and 0÷2= 0. 920. Hope i helped :)

Which of the following equations will produce the graph shown below?
melisa1 [442]
The graph is a circle, centered at the origin, with radius=4.

We know that we can write the equation of a circle with radius r and center (a,b) as :

                      (x-a)^2+(y-b)^2=r^2.

Thus, substituting (a, b) with (0, 0) and r with 4, we have:

                      x^2+y^2=16.

The solutions of this equation are all the points forming the circle shown in the picture. The solutions of this equation are still the same even if we multiply both sides of the equation by 2, because rewriting the equation as:

x^2+y^2=16\\\\x^2+y^2-16=0\\\\2(x^2+y^2-16)=0,

we would still have the same roots.

Thus, the equation of the circle can be written as :

                                    2x^2+2y^2=32.

Dylan drank 5.2 ounces of water before soccer practice, and 12.9 ounces after practice. Before he drank any water, there were 28
Elan Coil [88]

Answer:

x=28-5.2-12.9, 9.9 ounces of water remaining.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Dylan drank 5.2 ounces of water before soccer practice, and 12.9 ounces after practice.

Before he drank any water, there were 28 ounces of water in the container.

Question asked:

Which expression can be used to find the amount of water remaining?

Solution:

Let x the amount of water remaining.

Total quantity of water in the container = 28 ounces

Before practice, Dylan drank = 5.2 ounces

After practice, Dylan drank = 12.9 ounces

Remaining amount of water = Total quantity of water in the container - Amount of water is drunk before practice - Amount of water is drunk before practice

x=28-5.2-12.9\\ \\ x=28-18.1\\ \\ x=9.9\ ounces

Thus, 9.9 ounces of water remaining in the container.
