Answer:

I would say that the storylines or events that are related to the theme that it is important to develop compassion and empathy are: <em>Mrs. Dubose's words about Atticus defending Tom Robinson, and The killing of the rabid dog.</em>

Explanation:

These two events that I chose are very related to the theme that it is important to develop compassion and empathy. <em>Both situations make us</em>, the readers, <em>think about what we would do in those situations.</em> It is impossible not to feel sorry for the mistreatment received by Tom Robinson, and for the rabid dog and the difficult situation that is having to end his life because of his illness. <u>These are situations in which our feelings are very much involved and we can feel empathy and compassion for the situation of others because we realize how comfortable we are in our present, lucky situations</u> and feel sorry for those who are struggling. We stop for a minute and think "<em>lucky me I am not in this place!</em>". And, although it is common for us to feel that way when we see someone is not having a good time, it is very important to develop compassion and empathy for our daily lives, those feelings help us to be nicer with others and help us develop as human beings.

<h2>                          Frozen Daggers</h2>

She wore an angered expression paired with blue eyes sharp as frozen daggers.

Not worried about piercing you,

but rather how much you'd bleed.

Daggers that killed countless lives on a cold winter day.

Daggers that have been cleaned of blood by simply dipping them in the snow.

Making the knife as cold as the heart of the person who used it.

Daggers that killed ones it loved and cherished.

Daggers that show no mercy.

Daggers that stained the clean snow red that winter's evening.

Though the dagger wasn't kind, the winter day was.

Children played in the white flakes.

People built innocent snowmen.

Along with that they also built bonds and memories.

They built things they loved and not too soon after, lost.

Everyone played in the snow and built bonds no matter how different they were.

The winter day brought them together with to intention of taking them apart.

The winter loved them.

The winter thrived off of their happiness.

Joy was its source of life.

This is why her daggers are frozen.

She is the kindest soul to exist.

Yet she is not to be underestimated or you might just end up cut.

devlian [24]

Answer:

The choice with the most current information would be: D. News website

Explanation:

This is because of the frequency of updates in news websites. News websites update information on the go as they do not have to wait for printing.

A book, magazine or newspaper have to be proofread, edited, then printed before updated information can be released. In the case of magazines and books, a reader may not have updated information for up to several weeks or years respectively.

So, for the most updated information, a news website is the best bet.
