Explanation:

Artemidorus and the Soothsayer await Caesar in the street. Caesar enters with Brutus, Cassius, Casca, Decius, Metellus, Trebonius, Cinna, Ligarius, Antony, and other senators. Artemidorus approaches with his letter, saying that its contents are a matter of closest concern for Caesar. Caesar responds, “What touches us ourself shall be last served”—that is, his personal concerns are his last priority (III.i.8). Artemidorus tells him to read it instantly, but Caesar dismisses him as crazy.

Lines 126–130: How do you know the Wife is educated? Why do you think Chaucer gave his Wife of Bath this trait
Keith_Richards [23]

There are multiple instances in Chaucer's Canterbury Tales that show us that the Wife is in fact somewhat educated. One of such instances is when she compares one of the characters, the Knight, to Midas, a legendary king in Greek mythology who could turn everything he touched to gold. Her reference to Midas shows us that she has knowledge of history and mythology, therefore she is educated, at least to some extent.

The Wife is a mysterious character - she has traveled the world, experienced things, had five husbands, and has a variety of knowledge that other characters do not possess. Chaucer wanted to enhance her mysteriousness by giving her intelligence and education as well, to make the readers even more intrigued by this character.

Which behavior in the excerpt best indicates that there is a conflict between the society and an individual? Characters arguing
Serhud [2]

The behavior in the excerpt from "The Lottery" that indicated a conflict between the society and an individual is "Characters arguing with Tessie."

What was the conflicting incident in "The Lottery"?

The Lottery is a short story written by Shirley Jackson. The story is a fictional story about a town that observes a rite known as the lottery in which members of a community are selected by chance.

The character Tessie raised her voice against the unfair attitude of society. She shouted at Mr. Summer that the participant was not given a fair chance to choose the paper he wanted.

The other characters then argued with Tessie. This shows the conflict between Tessie and society.

Therefore the correct option is A.
