Answer:

They feared a domino effect (so that communism would lose its influence and it popularity would be contested)

Explanation:

The communist policies set by the Soviet Union were strict and imposed a harsh condition of almost non existent political opposition in the puppet states they influenced. Furthermore the states located in Eastern Europe created a "buffer" for an hypotethical war if the USSR was to be invaded. So they resolved to military occupy Hungary and restore the situation back to the conditions with the old regime.

The same situation ocurred with the Czech Republic and perhaps would most likely account for the History as one of the fiercest repression by that time.

Answer: the high taxes paid by the Third Estate

Explanation:

The Third Estate was part of the representative assembly of the Kingdom of France. There were 3 estates in the assembly and the Third Estate was at the lowest because it comprised of the common people.

The Kingdom's tax policies made it such that the First(Clergy) and the Second (Nobles) estates did not pay much taxes which meant that it was the Third Estate that were paying taxes.

The rock in this picture is meant to symbolise that tax that they paid which was then used by the First and Second Estates which are the men on top of them.
