How do you train your dog to stay? Include details and be specific
Juliette [100K]

Answer:

Simply put your hand out and block them and put them back in the corner in a sit position. make sure that you let your dog know that not moving is what gets them. The reward gradually increase the distance and time as we did in the corner until they can stay for 10 seconds at 10 feet away.

Also, with a leash, when teaching your dog to stay, say "stay" and pull the leash back to when the dog is sitting. This gives the dog an understanding of what to do and how to do it. Repeat this a few times. Then the dog will learn to sit and stay before the leash stops. Then they will have learned the "Stay" command.

Hope this Helps!

Chromosome is to Nucleus as DNA is to ?
kakasveta [241]

Chromatin

Chromosome, the highest packing level of DNA, is packed in nucleus. DNA strand itself is packed in chromatin. Chromatin is DNA packaging into 30nm fibers that involve DNA strand with scaffolding around DNA proteins, like histones, in eukaryotic cells’ nucleus.

Explanation:

The DNA strand is folded into nucleosomes, bead-like structures on the DNA and fold up into the 30nm fibers. During meiosis and mitosis, the chromatin is super-coiled up into thicker fibers called chromosomes. Chromosomes within the nucleus can be viewed by a light microscope in a cell in metaphase.

List molar concentrations (0.0 M, 0.2 M, etc.) at which water entered the potato strips. Why did water move into the potato stri
kati45 [8]

Answer:

- Water entered the potato strips because the potato cells contained higher concentration of solutes than its external environment.

- The solutions are hypotonic to the solution in the potato cells.

Explanation:

According to osmosis, water will move from a region where it is high in concentration to that region where it is low in concentration. However, a region with high solute concentration contains a low water concentration and vice versa.

Hence, according to this question, water is said to move into potato strips from solutions of molar concentrations like 0.0M, 0.2M etc. Water moved into the potato strips because potato cells contained higher concentration of solutes than its external environment. This means that the external solutions are HYPERTONIC i.e. low in solute concentration to the solution in the potato strips.
