Answer:

Well short and simple: They're the same fraction!

Step-by-step explanation:

Here's why well even though they're not look alike, they are however the same fraction it's just that one is improper and one is a mixed fraction.

So one we put the mixed fraction to improper we simply get 7/3.

Looking at the question we can see that it says:

41253>35214

We should know what these symbols mean:

stands for something less than the other, for example:

We can say that 2 is less than 5 so in a symbolic form it can be written as,

2

Similarly,

> stands for something greater than the other, for example:

We can say that 7 is greater than 5, in a symbolic form it can be written as,

7>5

So here, 42153>35214 means that, 42153 is greater than 35214.

Answer:

\large\boxed{d_2=15\ cm}

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula of an area of a kite:

A=\dfrac{d_1d_2}{2}

d₁, d₂ - diagonals

We have A = 120 cm² and d₁ = 16 cm. Substitute:

\dfrac{16d_2}{2}=120

8d_2=120           <em>divide both sides by 8</em>

d_2=15\ cm

Alexxandr [17]

Answer:

Line 1: -2

Line 2: 2

Line 3: 2

Line 1 & 2 is parallel.

Line 2 & 3 is neither.

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the slope of a line use the slope formula and substitute the points into it:

Line 1

m = \frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1} =\frac{2--2}{0-2} =\frac{2+2}{-2} =\frac{4}{-2}=-2

Line 2

m = \frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1} =\frac{-5--1}{1--1} =\frac{-5+1}{1+1} =\frac{-4}{2}= -2

Line 3

m = \frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1} =\frac{0--4}{-3--5} =\frac{0+4}{-3+5} =\frac{4}{2}=2

Parallel lines have the same slope and perpendicular lines have negative reciprocal slopes.

Line 1 & 2 is parallel.

Line 2 & 3 is neither.

joja [24]

OK so if 70% of students in 8th grade have siblings and 112 8th graders have siblings, then:

0.7(total 8th graders) = 112

total 8th graders = 112/0.7

total 8th graders = 160

And since the number of 8th graders is 5/6 the size of the 7th grade class:

5/6(7th grade class) = 160

5(7th grade class) = 960

7th grade class = 192.

The correct answer is D) 192.

Hope this helps

cheers,

Brian
