These leaf modifications are very sensitive to touch and have mechanism to catch insects for nitrogen requirement  

• Leaves modified for reproduction, usually colorful - attracts pollinators  

• Leaf Spines and Succulent leaves-prevents water loss  

These are modifications found in plants that live in under xerophytic conditions like Opuntia. Their function is also protective.  Succulent leaves have low surface to volume ratio.
