Which number line represents the following statement? A number is more than negative five.

It would be the first number line, because the number has to be MORE than 5, not 5 itself.

So the dot on the 5 cannot be a colored dot, or else that means that "a number" can be 5, but it can't, because 5 is not more than 5 (confusing).
