Advocard [28]

Answer:

2x +5y = -15

Step-by-step explanation:

We need to find the slope

m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

   = (-7--1)/(10- -5)

   = (-7+1)/(10+5)

   -6/15

  -2/5

The point slope form

Y+7= -2/5 (x - 10).

Distribute

y + 7 = -2/5x + 4

Add 2/5 x to each side

2/5x +y +7 = 4

Subtract 7 from each side

2/5x +y = -3

Multiply each side by 5

5(2/5x +y) = -3*5

2x +5y = -15

This is standard form Ax + By = C where A is a positive integer

100 POINTS !! THIS IS DUE TODAY!! SHOW YOUR WORK!! WILL GIVE BRAINLEST!! ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS!!
mixas84 [53]

Answer:

Picture 1: The answer is C.

Picture 2: The answer is A.

Picture 3: (I wasn't sure which one you wanted answered, so I answered both)-

     7.) The answer is D.

      8.) The answer is B.

Step-by-step explanation:

Pic. 1:

Pic 1 asks for the length of a storage bin in feet by using a scale. Since the scale is 1/2 in.=1 ft., each 1/2 in. will equal 1 foot in the actual length. The scale length is 2 3/4 in. Since 2 in. has four 1/2 inches in it, that would equal 4 ft. There is one 1/2 inch in 3/4, so that will equal another foot. This equals 5 1/2 feet, because after you take the 1/2 out of 3/4, you're left with 1/4, which is half of 1/2, so it will not equal a whole foot in the actual length. It will only equal half of a foot.

Pic. 2:

Pic 2 asks for the closest height. That would be 10 feet. Since there is a 1/2 foot, and you can't get half of 5 as an even number, so the closest number is 10.

Pic. 3:

7- Since 1 inch equals 20 miles, and the length is 2 1/2 miles, the answer is 50, because 20 times 2= 40, plus half of 20, which equals 10, so 40+10=50.

8- Since the scale length of the house is 8 in. and the perimeter is 30 in., and 8 times 2 is 16, 16 would equal the two sides that are 8 in. long. Then you take 30-16, which equals 14, which is the answer.

I hope I helped! :)
