You haven't shared the possible answer list.  But we can still "find the answer," whatever that means (you haven't defined your goal).

0.39 repeating  +  sqrt(175)

0.39 is rational; do you know how to find the equivalent numerical ratio?  It's
         13/33.

On the other hand, 175 = 7*25.  7 is not a perfect square; 25 is one.
Thus, sqrt(175) = sqrt(25)*sqrt(7) = 5 sqrt(7).  sqrt(7) is irrational.

The sum of a rational expression and an irrational one is irrational.

Find the missing terms of the sequence and determine if the sequence is arithmetic, geometric, or neither.
Minchanka [31]

Answer:

33,11,−11,−33,<u>-55,-77.</u>

Step-by-step explanation:

For an AP a_1,a_2,a_3,....,a_n.

a_2-a_1=a_3-a_2

In this given AP,

11-33=-11-11\\\\-22=-22=d

It means the given sequence is an AP.

First term, a = 33

d = -22

Fifth term :

a_5=a+(n-1)d\\\\a_5=33+(5-1)\times (-22)\\\\a_5=-55

Sixth term :

a_6=a+(n-1)d\\\\a_6=33+(6-1)\times (-22)\\\\a_6=-77

So, the sequence is 33,11,−11,−33,<u>-55,-77.</u>

Find the shaded area. Round your answer to the nearest tenth.
Fofino [41]

Answer:

{22cm}^{2}

to the nearest tenth

Step-by-step explanation:

find the area of the semi circle

\frac{\pi \times 5}{2}  = {7.85cm}^{2}

find area of the whole shape

5 \times 6 = {30cm}^{2}

then subtract both areas to get shaded area

30 - 7.85 = 22.15
