Hey, There i hope you are haveing a great day :) So I look at the example so it should be the same I think like how you work out the mean by adding all the numbers and then diving them so,  (8 + 4 + 8 + 8 + 10 + 2 + 4 + 4) = 48 and now you know you have got 8 numbers there a divide them so 48/8 = 6. and then I think you take away it so, 8 - 6 = 2 4 - 6 =-2 8 - 6 = 2 8 - 6 = 2 10 - 6 = 4 2 - 6 = -4 4 - 6 = -2 4 - 6 = -2 and then 2 + -2 + 2 + 2 + 4 + -4 + -2 + -2 divide 8 = 0 and you can't divide anything by 0 so that would be the answer.

BigorU [14]

Answer: 0.8

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's assume that 5 puzzles were solved in 5mins. That is, 1min for each puzzle to be solved.

From our assumption, our sample size will be 5.

The probability that a subject will solve more than 1 puzzle will be number of occurrence from 2 to 5 which is 4.

This gives: 4/5 = 0.8 to one decimal place.

Use the elimination method to solve the system of equations. Choose the
MatroZZZ [7]

Answer:

C

Step-by-step explanation:

7x + 3y = 30 (equation 1)

-2x + 3y = 3 (equation 2)

9x = 27 (subtract the two equations to eliminate y)

x = 3 (divide by 9)

7 * 3 + 3y = 30 (Substitute x = 3 into equation 1, it doesn't matter which equation you substitute into)

21 + 3y = 30 (7 * 3 = 21)

3y = 9 (Subtract 21)

y = 3 (divide by 3)

Answer is (3, 3)
