We know that

the dimensions of the cube are------> 1/2 ft x 1/2 ft x 1/2 ft

Part A)
[the volume of the larger rectangular prism]=64*[(1/2)*(1/2)*(1/2)]=8 ft³

the answer Part A) is
8 ft³

Part B) <span>B. what is the possible set of dimensions , in feet, of the larger rectangular prism?

we know that
[volume of </span>rectangular prism]=L*W*H
volume of 1 cube=1/8 ft³
volume of 64 cubes=8 ft³
so

the answer Part B) is
<span>any combination of whole cubes</span> such that
L*W*H=64 cubes

Examples:
4 x 4 x 4-------> 4 cubes x 4 cubes x 4 cubes-----> 64 cubes
4 cubes-----> 4*(1/2)----> 2 ft
so
2 ft x 2 ft x 2 ft

8 x 8 x 1-------> 8 cubes x 8 cubes x 1 cube-----> 64 cubes
8 cubes-----> 8*(1/2)-----> 4 ft
1 cube-------> 1*(1/2)-----1/2 ft
so
4 ft x 4 ft x1/2 ft

8 x 4 x 2------> 8 cubes x 4 cubes x 2 cubes-----> 64 cubes
8 cubes-------> 8*(1/2)------> 4 ft
4 cubes-------> 4*(1/2)------> 2 ft
2 cubes-------> 2*(1/2)-----> 1 ft
so
4 ft x 2 ft x 1 ft

Triss [41]

Answer:

Variable r represents the slope of the equation.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that the administrative fees that company charge is $3.50.

Also, the Zhao has a bill of $63.25.

The equation used by Zhao is

63.25=r(800)+3.50

We can compare the equation of a line in the slope-intercept form.

y=mx+c

We can see the y-intercept is $3.50 that is a fixed cost. And the company charged $63.25 that is the dependent variable.

Also, variable r that is the rate per kilowatt-hour (kWh) represents the slope of the equation.

Subtract -2x^2-4x+2 from -6x+2
Tems11 [23]

Answer:

2x(x-1)

Step-by-step explanation:

-6x+2-(-2x^2-4x+2)

-6x+2+2x^2+4x-2

2x^2-6x+4x+2-2

2x^2-2x

2x(x-1)

HELP HELP HELP HELP !!!!!!
STatiana [176]

Answer:

? = -2

Step-by-step explanation:

The division law of exponents states that when two numbers with the same base are divided, the exponents will subtract:

\frac{x^{a} }{x^{b} } =x^{a-b}

This means that the answer is:

\frac{2^{-8} }{2^{2} } =2^{-8-2}=2^{-10}

Now we just need to convert the answer into the form the question needs.

The power of a power exponent law states that when an exponent is raised to an exponent, the exponent are multiplied, so:

(x^{a})^{b} =x^{ab}

This also means that ab/a=b

Since our <em>ab </em>is -10, we just need to divide it by the <em>a</em>, which is 5, to get our <em>b</em>, which is the ?

-10/5=-2

Therefore the ? = -2

Hope this helped!
