Answer:

A. 220

Step-by-step explanation:

Please see the attached for the venn diagram

Given that the total number of male athletes is 350

Let

Total number of male athletes = N

n(Bk) = number that play basketball

n(Bb) = number that play baseball

n(k) = number that play basketball only

n(x) = number that play baseball only

n(b) = number that play both

Then it is given that

n(Bk) = 250 , n(b) = 120

n(Bk) = n(b) + n(k)

250 = 120 + n(k)

n(k) = 250 - 120

      = 130

N = n(k) + n(x) + n(b)

350 =  130 + 120 +  n(b)

350 = 250 + n(b)

n(b)  = 350 -  250

n(b)  = 100

n(Bb) =  n(b) + n(x)

n(Bb) = 100 + 120

         = 220

If EG=19 and FG=12 then EF=?
Volgvan

Answer:

EF = 31

Step-by-step explanation:

Note that in both line segments (EG & FG), they both have point G in them. This means that point G is the shared point and the mid-point. Add the two line segments together to get the full segment.

EG + FG = EF

19 + 12 = 31

31 is your answer
