. Arrange the following substances in order of increasing tendency to donate electrons

Biology

Answer:

From lowest to highest tendency to donate electrons:

NADP+, Oxygen (O2), α–ketoglutarate, Malate, Oxaloacetate

Explanation:

Electron donors are those molecules that can easily lose an electron and are known as reducing agents.

Lower the electronegativity, better the electron donor it is

Oxygen is an oxidizing agent and hence, a strong electron acceptor and not a donor.

NADP+ state for this coenzyme functions as an ideal electron acceptor rather than an electron donor

Sweat is the result of which life function?
telo118 [61]
Human sweat is a result of our body getting over heated. We sweat through our pores so our temperatures don't go up and as a result we stay at a normal temperature. We may feel hot but that's because we are hot from the heat of something. If we didn't sweat then our temperature would become very high and we would die.

Explain will water move in, out, or both if a cell is placed in a hypertonic solution
STALIN [3.7K]

Answer:

Water will move out of a cell.

Explanation:

A hypertonic solution will have higher solute concentration and lesser solvent concentration. If a cell is placed in such a solution, then the concentration of the solvent will be more inside of the cell as compared to outside of the cell. As a result, the solvent will move out of the cell. If an excess of solvent is lost, the cell might shrink to dangerous levels.

Hence, from the above description we can justify that water will move out of a cell which is placed in a hypertonic solution.

Describe an animal behavior that you hypothesize is advantageous to an animal’s survival. Discuss the ways in which you believe
Hunter-Best [27]
Male animal aggression during mating season. The evolutionary purpose of most species is to repopulate and keep the species alive long enough to become the highest being it can evolve into (We humans have done the best at this so far). So, every male in a species gets aggressive during mating season because the stronger ones are most likely to have healthy offspring. So, when animals fight they are fighting to keep their species alive. If you think about it who wouldn't want to be responsible for the evolutionary breakthrough that kept a species alive over thousands of years? hope this helped.
