Animal sounds and signals are considered language because: ___. SELECT ALL THAT APPLY.
Umnica [9.8K]

Answer:

its kind of tricky maybe 3 definitely 4 and 5

Explanation:

1. They are completely arbitrary  - this means its random sounds its not

2. They are not considered language  - this is a contrition

3. They are governed by rules for usage - animals don't have grammar rules

4. They are uniform and conventional  - unchanging and generally done

5. They are used to communicate - this is true

i would say 3,4,5 are the most accurate

animals don't have grammar but they have meaning to their words so humans put rules on them to better understand animals

over time the dialect may have changed but just like humans learned from the ones before them animals do the same and some noises are instinctive.

this is how they call to each other to fight, hunt, search, travel, and find each other when they are lost or separated
