What goes in goes out. This means none of the current is lost. So if 0.7amps+0.68amps+0.47amps = 1.85 amps comes in, then 1.85 amps goes out. So far we have 0.8 amps+0.55 amps going out= 1.35 amps. This means we need an additional 1.85-1.35amps going out= 0.5 amps for the third outgoing current. Cheers!

3x-8y=-50 6y=x solve by substitution
worty [1.4K]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

3x-8y=-50.........(1)

6y= x ..............(2)

Substituting x = 6y in (1)

3(6y) - 8y = -50

18y - 8y = -50

10y = -50

y = -50/10

y = -5

Putting y = -5 in (2)

6y = x

6(-5) = x

-30 = x

x = -30

What is the sum of two integers is 54 and their difference is 10.
Flauer [41]
Use sum and difference formulas, where difference is positive.

Larger number  = (sum+difference)/2 = (54+10)/2 = 32
Smaller number = (sum-difference)/2 = (54-10)/2 = 22
