Answer:

1- The correct answer is C. The basis of Athens military power was its large and capable navy.

2- The correct answer is B. In general, women in Athens were confined to the home.

3- The correct answer is A. The focus of education in Athens was to prepare a person for citizenship.

Explanation:

1- Athens military was more powerful at sea, because in the fifth century BC it exercised a true dominion over the seas of Ancient Greece. It had approximately 400 boats, used mainly in the Aegean Sea, and more than 60,000 men.

2- The Athenian woman was an eternal minor, who possessed neither legal nor political rights. All his life, he had to remain under the authority of a guardian: first his father, then his husband, his son if he was a widow or his closest relative. All his activities were developed within this circle, and his main task was domestic activities.

3- Athenian education aimed at both the cultivation of the body and the mind. The Athenians placed emphasis on the development of reason and critical sense, which they exercised in public life and in cultural manifestations, that is, the individual was prepared to be a citizen.

Why did the us become involved in hawaii during the early and mid 1800s
Vikki [24]

A few reasons. It was great for the United States economy because of the great production of sugar and other items there. Also because it was a strategic location for war. The terrain was perfect and it being an island gave them access farther away from the motherland. You can actually still see some of the bunkers and stuff on the volcanoes that they used in the World War!

how did the buffalo soldiers contribute to african americans gaining civil rights in the united states please answer
NeX [460]
