TELL ME THE PROCESS OF HOW THEY GOT THE ANSWER PLEASE (i already wrote the equation and work i just need a walkthrough)

First you subtract -4 from -37 & you get -33 ( not positive ) and so then that leaves you with 0.5n-33=2n (because there’s obvi no 4 anymore since you canceled it out) and then you subtract 0.5n from 2n and get 1.5n and so then you have the -33=1.5n and then you just divide 1.5 by -33 to get ur anwser

Usually you would subtract the variable first and not the addition or subtraction but in this case it seems they started with adding which is also okay.

To start you have to add four to each side. Which then makes the equation .5n=2n-33

then since both sides still have an N value you must subtract 2n from .5 leaving you with -1.5n

Then do -33/-1.5

Leaving you with 22
