<span>We can use the past tense and the imperfect, the two both to talk about the past.
EX: It was still dark when we left

The present perfect expresses a completed action or terminated
The imperfect expresses a habit of the past, an unfinished work, or being accomplished in the past.
While we were walking, the storm broke.

tense: precise action
EX: I was walking down the street suddenly she looked at me.
When one tells a story of the past, we will use both times. The tense for events and imperfect for descriptions and situations.

When we had an accident, it was fine and there were many people on the roads.

The past tense indicates a change from old habits or a change to a given situation.
EX :I used to live in Paris. One day, I moved<span>.

Read Dracula's note giving directions to his castle and draw a mini-diagram.:
n200080 [17]

So I can’t really draw anything for you but I can give you a translation.

“To get to my castle, you go straight at the crossroads. You turn right at the cafe and then you turn left at the pool. You pass between the hotel and the restaurant, then you turn right. And here it is, my castle“

So draw a straight line going up, then turning right at a little cafe, then left at a pool, keep it going straight and put a hotel and restaurant on both sides of the line, then one more right turn and draw the castle :) add anything else you think it needs!
