How might man make the argument that ""prosperity for one is prosperity for others""? Animal Farm - George Orwell
zloy xaker [14]

Answer:

Prosperity for one is prosperity for others

Explanation:

we live in misery, laboriousness and shortness of life. We are born, we obtain only so much food that the breath of our own blood will remain in our bodies, and those of us who are able to do so will be forced to work to the last atom in our power. Every animal knows the meaning of pleasure or leisure when he is one year old in England. For England there is no animal free of charge. An animal's life is wretchedness and slavery: that's real.

Man is the only animal that consumes without making. It gives no milk, it doesn't lay eggs, it's too weak to pull the sting, it doesn't run fast enough to capture rabbits. He is, however, lord of all beasts. He gives them the bare minimum they can escape hunger, and he holds the rest for him. He puts them to work. Our labor makes the earth fertile, our dung makes it fertile.

Remember, comrades, you must never fool your resolution. You should not be misled by any argument. Always mind when they tell you that the common interest is for man and animals, that one's wealth is the happiness of another. Everything is lies. Nobody but himself serves the interests of any man. And there is true unity amongst us animals and perfect comradeship in war. Everybody is an enemy. Every animal is a companion.

The vote took place at once, and an overwhelming majority agreed that rats were companions. Only four people, the three dogs and the cat, were diagnosed and then voted on both sides.

Man's every habit is bad. And no animal will tyrannize his own kind, first and foremost. We are all brothers, weak or strong, smart or easy. No other animal should ever kill. Every animal is the same.

Explanation:
