What problems did us farmers experience after world war one that contributed to the depression?

Farmers became poorer because people didn’t have the money to buy thing more expensive during the Depression. They had to sell their crops for less, and made little money to buy anything. Also, it was hard to raise crops, because at that time the world was pretty dark and dirty.

ANSWER: The British colonies were rich in cultivating crops. So, it was a good idea to keep a watch on them and collect taxes on them. This system was much similar to collecting taxes by present day government. The taxes were profit for the government of England as they had no responsibility to spend that amount for the betterment of the colonies.

They were not  officially justified  because they acted according to their own beliefs and often did violent acts. Still, some think that what they did was an patriotic act.
