It will take him 4 days to finish 1 painting.
So, it will going to take him 8 days to finish 2 whole paintings.

1/4 + 1/4 + 1/4 + 1/4 = 1 painting = 4 days
1/4 + 1/4 + 1/4 + 1/4 = 1 painting = 4 days
