Gestalt principle of closure represents the tendency for individuals to see incomplete items as complete even with their missing parts.

For example, we are used to see a keyhole located under a door knob. When a door is created without any key hole but we place an object under the door knob, we would automatically assume that that object is a key hole even without seeing an actual key hole.
