I cannot do 100 words but: Stanton's declaration of Sentiments was very similar to Jeffersons' Declaration or Independence in many ways. The two structures are layed out almost identical because they use the same tone and ideas used as well. The two documents could be easily confused if not read properly.

Answer:

The Declaration of Sentiments and the Declaration of Independence shared a lot of similarities. The Declaration of Sentiments by feminist author Elizabeth Cady Stanton. The text outlines her ideas about gender equality, and tries to show that women deserve the same rights men do.

The document is structured in the same way as the Declaration of Independence for two important reasons. First, this was done in order to give credibility to her argument. It showed the origin of these ideas and the reason why feminists believed they were entitled to equal rights. The second reason is that the structure allowed feminists to associate their liberation movement with that of the movement for independence.

The Declaration of Sentiments parallels the Declaration of Independence by stating its purpose, declaring the actions that will be taken, outlining the natural rights of all humans and listing the grievances of both groups.

The Cay is a children's novel and book one of the Cay series, written by American author Theodore Taylor, and published in 1969. 11-year-old Phillip Enright and his mother board the S.S. Hato to Virginia to escape Curaçao, which has been surrounded by German submarines. The ship is torpedoed, and Phillip, blinded by a blow to the head, is stranded at sea with an old black man called Timothy and a cat called Stew Cat. Initially Phillip, heeding his mother’s racist warnings, is full of distain for Timothy. They come ashore on a cay – a low sandbank. Here Timothy teaches Phillip to look after himself, and their friendship grows. Timothy dies, and a devastated Phillip is rescued, along with Stew Cat. The novel was awarded the Jane Addams Children's Book Award in 1970, but due to controversy over the racism in the novel, the award was rescinded. Opposing this, Taylor described The Cay as "a subtle plea for better race relations and more understanding.”

Why did america change to the imperial system instead of the metric system
deff fn [24]

Answer:

The biggest reasons the U.S. hasn't adopted the metric system are simply time and money. When the Industrial Revolution began in the country, expensive manufacturing plants became a main source of American jobs and consumer products.
