Say the width is W and the length is L

L=3W (and of course W=W)

Now you use the perimeter formula P=2L+2W

80=2(3W) + 2W)

80=6W+2W

80=8W Divide both sides by 8

W=10

Now that you know the width, substitute it back into L=3W to find the length

L=3(10)

L=30

The dimensions are length: 30 cm and width: 10 cm

A ski resort claims that there is a 75% chance of snow on any given day in january and that snowfall happens independently from
lys-0071 [83]

Using the binomial distribution, it is found that the mean and the standard deviation of variable x are given as follows:

\mu = 3, \sigma = 0.87

<h3>What is the binomial probability distribution?</h3>

It is the probability of exactly <u>x successes on n repeated trials, with p probability</u> of a success on each trial.

The expected value of the binomial distribution is:

E(X) = np

The standard deviation of the binomial distribution is:

\sqrt{V(X)} = \sqrt{np(1-p)}

In this problem, we have that the parameters are given as follows:

n = 4, p = 0.75.

Hence the mean and the standard deviation are given as follows:

  • E(X) = np = 4 x 0.75 = 3.
  • \sqrt{V(X)} = \sqrt{np(1-p)} = \sqrt{4 \times 0.75 \times 0.25} = 0.87

Answer: \frac{1}{b^6}   or b^{-6}

Step-by-step explanation:

\frac{b^-2+2}{b^4+2}   Add the exponent two to both sides.  After adding -2 and     2 you get 0 and any number raised to the zero power is one. And 4 plus two is 6

\frac{b^0}{b^6}   = \frac{1}{b^6}

One third of a number reduced by 11 is equal to 4 more than the number
Alecsey [184]
1/3x -11 = 4+x is what we start with, then add 11 to both sides, then subtract x from both sides. Then when we divide both sides by -2/3, x will equal -22.5.

Have many times does 246 go into 6
eduard
None. If you think about it, 246 is greater than 6, so how can fit 246 into 6? Think about it this way . . how many times can you fit an elephant into a garden hose? . . yeah . . you probably can't . . try reposting your question . . and try making more sense of it next time. :)
