Window service accounts is recommended to have at least a 25 character password. this is because Window service accounts grants access to very high profile and sensitive information to whoever has access to it.
After having a password of not less than 25 characters it is required to have a good password practice which is ensuring regular password changes to a window service account. there is a bad password behavior/practice been applied by Windows service accounts operators/holders that makes them set the password of a Window service account to ( never expire ) mode. this is a dangerous practice as sensitive information can be leaked if the password is bridged.
