The significance of the first chapter: Bonaparte Blenkins Makes His Nest" is the introduction of the character that will be critical in the story. Bonaparte Blenkins making his nest signifies that he was able to penetrate the household of Tant Sannie. He was able to assuage the doubts of Tant Sannie and gain her trust making him a trusted stranger. Just as with a nest, it becomes a home, a refuge. Since Blenkins was able to gain the trust of the household, he was successful on making his target his new home. Eventually, he would abuse the trust given to him and betray people in the story.

Cheap and Frugal Which shows a negative connotation and which shows a positive connotation? Why?
evablogger [386]
Cheap is negative and Frugal is positive.

Cheap is negative because it is when somebody is afraid to spend money to have short-term savings and in the process they reduce the quality, value and time they have.

Frugal is positive because it is when someone prioritises their money and only spends on things they really need.

e.g someone cheap will buy lots of badly made chairs but a frugal person will buy one chair which will last longer.
