The US (us) XD wanted to contain communism (your guys belief system) and so we had a big ol' stand off too see who was more stronger... (that time you guys r USSR) well, we won becuz u guys fell apart, and we became the only world power (up too that time it was both the US and the USSR) XD hope this helps !!!!!
