Answer:

<u>The original price of the laptop was US$ 875</u>

Step-by-step explanation:

1. Let's review all the information given for solving this question:

Sale price of the laptop = US$ 525

Discount from the original price = 40%

2. Let's find the original price of the laptop

Original price of the laptop = x

Sale price of the laptop = US$ 525

Sale price of the laptop = x - 40%x

525 = x - 0.4x

525 = x - 4x/10 (0.4 = 4/10)

5,250 = 10x -4x (Multiplying by 10 at both sides)

5,250 = 6x

5,250/6 = 6x/6 (Dividing by 6 at both sides)

875 = 6

<u>Answer: </u>

Therefore the original price of the laptop is $1312.5

<u>Explanation:</u>

Given the discount on the laptop is 40%

Sale price of the laptop is $525

Consider the original price to be $x

According to the question,

40% of x = 525

\frac{40}{100} x=525

x = \frac{525 \times 100}{40}

x = $1312.5

Therefore the original price of the laptop is $1312.5

Income: y = 7500x

Expense: y = 5900x + 88000

Substitution:

7500x = 5900x + 88000

A − 7 = 3 (b+2) pls answer soon
Alexeev081 [22]
I believe the answer is....

For solving for a

a-7= 3(b+2) ———> distribute 3(b+2)
a-7= 3b+6 ———-> add 7 on both sides

a-7= 3b+6
a+7= 3b +7 ———-> the 7’s cancel out so you’re left with....

a = 3b + 13 (That’s your answer)

Hope that helped :3
