<span>x = –4c
</span>if c = -2 then x = -4(-2) = 8

I believed you  had a typo, function should be f(x) = -3x^2 - 4x
so
<span>f(x) = -3x^2 - 4x
</span>f(x) = -3(8^2) - 4(8)
f(x) = -3(64) - 32
f(x) = -192 - 32
f(x) = -224

answer

<span>C.
–224</span>

liberstina [14]

Answer:

The corn plant grew by 11.17 inches during week 2.

Step-by-step explanation:

7 and 1/3 inches tall at the end of Week 1.

The height at the end of week 1, as a simple fraction, is:

7 + \frac{1}{3} = \frac{3*7 + 1}{3} = \frac{22}{3}

The corn plant was 18 1/2 inches tall at the end of Week 2.

At the end of week 2, the height will be of:

18 + \frac{1}{2} = \frac{18*2+1}{2} = \frac{37}{2}

How many inches did the corn plant grow during Week 2?

Height at the end of week 2 subtracted by the height at the end of week 1. So

\frac{37}{2} - \frac{22}{3} = \frac{3*37-2*22}{6} = \frac{67}{6} = 11.17

The corn plant grew by 11.17 inches during week 2.

Answer:

The values of x so that y = \csc x have vertical asymptotes are -2\pi, -\pi, 0, \pi, 2\pi.

Step-by-step explanation:

The function cosecant is the reciprocal of the function sine and vertical asymptotes are located at values of x so that function cosecant becomes undefined, that is, when function sine is zero, whose periodicity is \pi. Then, the  vertical asymptotes associated with function cosecant are located in the values of x of the form:

x = 0\pm \pi\cdot i, \forall \,i\in \mathbb{N}_{O}

In other words, the values of x so that y = \csc x have vertical asymptotes are -2\pi, -\pi, 0, \pi, 2\pi.
