But considering the Yukon mountains, and the freezing temperature, an old man had warned him not to continue with his plan. But ignoring his advice and warnings, he went ahead taking along with him a native dog. Even the dog seemed to know it was no weather to move out. Along the way, the cold began to increase and by the end of the story, we find the dog alone reached the camp. The man had died on the way, from the severe cold. Thus, the best example among the questions is that the dog survives the cold while the man does not.
