divide both sides by 13
87/26 = W
3 9/26 is the width of the rectangular rug

Well area is length time width and to do the opposite you have to divide. Just do 14 1/2 ÷ 4 1/3. If you use a calculator you would get 3.34615385, but all you pretty much need is 3.346. Your width is 3.346 and length is 4 1/2 or 4.5. Check by multiplying them you would get 14 1/2 or 14.5.
