Alicia and Jeremy weigh a cell phone on a digital scale. They write down 113 but forgot to record the unit. Which unit of measur ement is correct, grams or kilograms? How do you know?
2 answers:
It would be grams. I know this because the are 1,000 grams in a kilogram. and the unit measure in the problem is 113 and not in the thousands yet, so it's 113 grams and not 113 kilograms
Grams because a phone wouldn't weigh 113,000 which is what it means be kilo grams unless it was a old Nokia brick then I'm not sure
