Amount of water leaked by the pipe per day = 1.5 cups
Number of days in a week = 7
Then
Amount of water leaked by the pipe in 7 days = (1.5 x 7) cups
                                                                         = 10.5 cups
It is already given in the question that
16 cups = 1 gallon
So
10.5 cups = 10.5/16 gallons
                 = 0.65625 gallons
                 = 0.66 gallons
So the pipe is leaking about 0.66 gallons per week. I hope the answer comes to your help.

a rectangular pool is 20 ft wide and 50 ft long. the deck is the same width all the way around the pool. the total area of the d
Alex
First, we need to get the total area of the rectangular pool.
Area = l * w
Area = 20 ft * 50 ft
Area = 1000 ft^2

Then the deck is 456 ft^2 with the width of 20ft, the same as the rectangular pool.

Area = l * w
456 = l * 20
l = 456 / 20
l = 22.8 ft.

So the walkway is 22.8ft wide.

F(x)=4x+2 and g(x)=4(x−9)+2. What transformation occurs from function f to function g? a translation 9 units right a horizontal
marishachu [46]

Answer:

A translation 9 units right

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

f(x) = 4x + 2

g(x) = 4(x -9)+ 2

Required

Translation of f(x) to g(x)

To do this, we take the options one after the other.

A translation 9 units right

When an original function f(x) is translated to the right by h points, the resulting function g(x) is

g(x) = f(x - h)

So, we have that:

f(x) = 4x + 2

When translated to the right by 9 points,

g(x) = 4(x - 9) + 2

<em>Hence, option A answers the question</em>
